Buck Spring
NE Warren County between Hub-quarter Creek and Stonehouse Creek. Formerly the plantation of Nathaniel Macon (1758-1837), member of Congress (1791-1828) and speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives; he is buried there. House burned by vandals, 1977, and reconstructed. Post office operated there from 1901 to 1905. Site owned and maintained by Warren County.
