Northwest River

… rises in Norfolk County, Va., and flows SE into Currituck County, where it empties into Tull Bay and North Landing River. Prior to the opening of the Dismal Swamp Canal, Northwest River flowed from Lake Drummond, Va., to Currituck Sound. Appears on the Ogilby map, 1671.
