Norrington's Falls

… in Cape Fear River in N central Harnett County. In an 1819 survey of the rivers of North Carolina, the N end, near the confluence of Hector Creek with the river, is called Norrington's Upper Falls; the S end, near the confluence of Neals Creek with the river, is called Norrington's Lower Falls.
