SW Brunswick County between Big Beach and Hales Beach connecting Long Bay in the Atlantic Ocean with the mouths of Shallotte River, Shallotte Creek, and Saucepan Creek. Provides access to the Intracoastal Waterway from the Atlantic Ocean.
