Lenoxville

… a proposed town chartered in 1816 to be laid out on the lands of James McKinlay in S Carteret County E of Beaufort at present-day Lenox Point. Apparently it was never developed. A contemporary manuscript map of Lenoxville is in the North Carolina Collection, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
