A region in Dare County, Pamlico County, Carteret County, Craven County, Washington County, Hyde County, Beaufort County and Tyrrell County
This is the geographic region where the Outer Banks Dialect is spoken; the boundaries are fuzzy; this area imakes up the lands immediately surrounding the Pamlico Sound, including Hyde County, as well as the Outer Banks.
